Android is great as internet source. If you have notebook or tablet or phone with wifi built in, and no internet connection, you can use your android as internet sharing, ofcourse your android need mobile data connection.
To enable it, goto ~setting ~wirreless setting ~ check portable tathering, see the picture.
You can also use USB cable to make android as modem.
