Memserikan Filter / Splitter ADSL

Salah satu usaha yang mungkin bisa membantu memperbaiki sinyal yang masuk dari DSLAM di Telkom mungkin ada baiknya dicoba untuk memasang seri dua (2) splitter ADSL sebelum dimasukan ke modem ADSL. Tampak pada gambar port modem splitter hitam di masukan ke input dari telepon dari splitter putih.

Urutan sambungan adalah dari colokan telkom, masuk ke splitter hitam. Dari port modem splitter hitam di masukan ke spliter yang ke dua berwarna putih, tidak modem ADSL. Baru dari port modem splitter ke dua berwarna putih di masukan ke router ADSL.

Hati-hati jangan sampai salah menyambungkan kabel antara splitter pertama ke splitter ke dua. Jika splitter ke dua di sambung ke sambungan telepon di splitter pertama, maka yang akan terjadi adalah tidak ada sinyal ADSL yang akan lewat.

Pesawat telepon dapat di masukan ke port telepon di splitter ke dua, maupun di port phone di splitter yang pertama.

Hasil experimen yang dilakukan, kita dapat menaikan Noise Margin dari Downstream dari Internetsekitar 4-6dB lumayan untuk menaikan reliabilitas data yang masuk ke arah modem ASDL.

Dari experimen penyambungan sampai tiga (3) splitter ADSL dan ternyata berhasil dengan baik untuk menaikan SNR. Hanya saja konsekuensi yang harus di tanggung dengan semakin banyaksplitter ADSL yang di seri adalah turunnya SNR upstream sekitar 1dB. Mungkin yang terbaik sekitar 2-3 splitter ADSL yang di seri saja.

Memperbaiki RAM rusak

Kali ini saya akan berbagi tips dan pengalaman saya tentang menangani memory PC (SDRAM,DDRAM) yang sudah anda anggap mati (asal tidak mengalami kerusakan fisik yang parah, misalnya terbakar atau hancur/patah), karena biasanya menurut yang saya lihat bila memory sudah di nyatakan mati oleh pemilik PC atau oleh teknisi komputer maka biasanya langsung saja di ganti dengan membeli memory yang baru, padahal masih ada kemungkinan memory tersebut di bikin hidup atau berfungsi lagi.
Berikut ini saya punya tips untuk menangani memory yang sudah di anggap mati tersebut berdasarkan pengalaman selama menggeluti dunia hardware , dengan akurasi dia atas 70 %, jadi misalnya anda memiliki 10 keping memory mati maka ada kemungkinan 7 keping masih bisa di selamatkan…cukup lumayan kan.? kita bisa menghemat uang beberapa ratus ribu utntuk perkepingnya.Ok, langsung saja siapkan memory mati tersebut, dan peralatan yang di perlukan adalah Avometer.
1. Bersihkan memory tersebut dengan cara menggosok pin-pin memory tersebut dengan kain dengan tujuan membersihkan, boleh juga di beri Tiner sedikit supaya lebih bersih dari debu, dan gesekan dengan kain tersebut juga akan memancing ion-ion pada pin memory menjadi tersimulasi agar konduktornya lebih aktif.
2. Arahkan skala Avometer pada Ohm (skala untuk mengukur hambatan), bebas boleh pada posisi 1K, 10K, 100K…
3. Ambil jarum negative (-) Avometer (kabel warna hitam) lalu tempelkan pada salah satu pin/kaki memory, dan jarum positive (kabel warna merah) gesekan pada pada kumpulan kaki-kaki IC/chipset memory ,bila memory memiliki 8 buah IC misalnya maka gesekan jarum (+) tersebut ke kaki-kaki 8 IC tersebut.
4. Selesai….silahkan coba pasang memory tersebut pada slotnya di Mainboard….

Proses ini adalah memanfaatkan aliran arus listrik dari batere Avometer yang di alirkan ke dalam sirkuit-sirkuit IC/Chipset memory . Cara kerja proses ini adalah seperti halnya proses Clear CMOS pada Mainboard apabila Mainboard mengalami crash dan tidak mau hidup, yaitu terjadinya gangguan atau penyumbatan pada perjalanan arus listrik sehingga arus yang di
perlukan untuk untuk pengaktifan suatu system tidak terpenuhi….atau seperti ilustrasi orang yang pingsan atau koma lalu kita coba bangunkan dengan cara di pancing syaraf-syarafnya untuk aktif dan sadar dengan cara di siram air, di setrum.dsb.

Cam adalah kulitasnya hasil dari rekaman digital camera. Kadang menggunakan mini tripod yang terkadang terlihat goncangan kecil. Dan juga kadang terekam penonton lalu lalang dari tempat duduk. Kualitas gambar jelek.

TS:
Atau Telesync, hampir sama dengan CAM perbedaannya adalah menggunakan external audio source. Sumber audio langsung tidak menjamin kualitas suara yang baik, banyak suara latar dan gangguan. Kualitas sangat jelek.

TC:
Telecine mesin membuat film digital dari film roll. Suara dan gambar umumnya sangat baik, tergantung peralatan yang digunakan. Kualitas lumayan.

Kalau ga bisa hidup, ada 2 yg diperiksa yaitu, sistem bahan bakar, sistem pengapian, dan kompresi.

1> Periksa apakah bensin mencapai karburator. Cek pada selang dan saringan bensin, tersumbat atau tidak. Pastikan kran bensin terbuka pada posisi on/open. Buka baut yg dibawah mangkuk karburator (dekat selang pembuangan) dan lihat apakah bensin mencapai mangkuk (mengucur keluar selang).

Bila tidak mengalir sempurna ataupun seluruhnya (mampet), berarti saluran tersumbat. Bisa pada dasar tangki, selang, saringan, keran bensin, atau spuyer karburator.

2> Periksa keadaan busi. Buka dengan kunci busi dan dibantu pengungkit (bisa pakai obeng) yg dimasukkan ke lubang kecil di kunci businya. Periksa elektroda, kalau kotor maka bersihkan.

Jika basah karena oli, berarti oli dari dalam silinder bocor melalui dinding yang baret2, ring piston/pistonnya aus. Jika basah bensin berarti karburator banjir.

Cek nyala api busi dengan memasang busi pada tutup kepala busi dan menempelkan ulir busi pada logam (bisa pada blok mesin) lalu starter mesin/selah dengan kick starter. Pastikan menyala kuat dan stabil. Bila tidak normal atau mati bahkan, periksa busi, kabel busi, koil, CDI, Sepul magnet, pulser, dan kabel2 yg melalui komponen2 tadi. Mungkin salah satu rusak/mati, bisa juga korslet (hubungan pendek).

3> Dalam keadaan lubang busi terbuka, cobalah memeriksa tekanan kompresi mesin. Tutup lubang busi dengan jari atau jari yg terbungkus kain, starter mesin atau selah sesekali sambil merasakan apakah tekanan kuat atau lemah. Jika lemah, periksa apakah ada kebocoran gasket. Periksa apakah klep2 mesin bekerja normal dengan membuka tutup klep dengan kunci 17. Jika bocor berarti klep tidak tertutup sempurna atau bahkan terbuka terus. Bisa jadi setelan klep berubah atau urutan buka tutup klep tidak benar.

4>Bila hendak menyalakan mesin, coba buka tuas cuk (choke) dan starter. Sebaiknya menyalakan mesin dgn cara ini bila mesin dalam keadaan dingin atau terparkir lama.

5> Bila saluran bbm, karburator, kelistrikan, dan kompresi dalam keadaan normal, sedangkan mesin mati sesaat setelah hidup, berarti ada kebocoran pada manifold (leher angsa) entah yg dibelakang karburator ataupun lubang intake di blok mesin. Periksa gasketnya dari kebocoran.

6>Bila mesin mati mendadak ditengah perjalanan, periksa apakah temperatur mesin overheat atau tidak. Bila ya, diamkan sebentar sekitar 15 menitan lalu coba starter. Perhatikan kualitas oli yang anda pakai dan jangan telat ganti oli apalagi kekurangan oli.

7> Jangan lupa berdo'a sebelum berkendara.

Catatan: Pastikan selalu membawa kunci2 dan alat2 yang diperlukan. Lalu, pastikan keadaan sekitar aman untuk melakukan perbaikan (untuk menghindari tindak kejahatan) dan cari tempat terang yang aman dari lalu lintas. Apabila kesulitan masih berlanjut, segera hubungi bengkel terdekat.

Go to the "Control Panel", "Add/Remove", select "Add/Remove Windows Components". You will now see many more Windows components to uninstall. Do not remove anything with no label or that you do not recognize or fully understand what it does. Doing so can break certain functionality in Windows.






Control Panel




Secret - Hidden Control Panel Extensions




Instructions - Download and install TweakUI, launch, go to "Control Panel" and check any item not selected, then "Apply" and "OK". You will now see the hidden control panel extensions.






Device Manager




Secret - Hidden Devices




Instructions - Go to the "Control Panel", "System" icon, "Hardware" tab and select "Device Manager". Select "View" and Show hidden devices.




Secret - Phantom Devices




Instructions - Go to "Start", "Programs", "Accessories" and select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type "set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1" and press Enter. At the command prompt, type "start devmgmt.msc" and press Enter. Select "View" and Show hidden devices. You can see devices that are not connected to the computer. - Source




Notes - When you close the command prompt window, Windows clears the "devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1" variable that you set and prevents phantom devices from being displayed when you select "Show hidden devices".

Instructions - Browse to C:\Windows\Media and you will find 3 hidden MIDI files:

Notes - "MIDI" stands for "Musical Instrument Digital Interface" - A compression format for encoding music.






Music




Secret - Music from the Installer




Instructions - Browse to C:\Windows\system32\oobe\images\title.wma and play.




Notes - "OOBE" stands for "Out-of-Box Experience".






Shutdown




Secret - Display Hibernate Option on the Shut Down dialog




Instructions - Go to "Start", "Turn Off Computer..." and press either Shift key to change the "Stand By" button to "Hibernate".






Support Tools

TIPS ngilangin komedo

Jakarta, Siapapun di dunia ini pasti tidak ingin memiliki komedo ataupun jerawat di wajahnya. Selain bisa merusak penampilan, komedo juga bisa menurunkan kepercayan diri.




Menurut para ahli, komedo merupakan tahap pertama dari jerawat sebelum bakteri masuk ke pori-pori kulit yang menyebabkan infeksi atau peradangan. Masalah ini biasanya mulai ada setelah masa remaja, ketika hormon mulai mempengaruhi tubuh dan kulit.




Kelebihan hormon ini mengakibatkan stimulasi dari kelenjar minyak, sehingga produksi minyak berlebih di pori-pori kulit. Kelebihan minyak tersebut semakin lama akan menutup pori-pori dan ketika terkena udara akan menjadi hitam. Komedo bisa muncul pada semua jenis kulit, namun lebih banyak terjadi pada kulit berminyak.




Meskipun terdapat banyak pengobatan dan krim yang bisa digunakan untuk menghilangkan atau mencegah komedo, beberapa orang justru menghindari menggunakannya. Untuk itu tidak ada salahnya mencoba perawatan alami dalam mengatasi komeo yang mengganggu.




Ikuti beberapa tips alamiah berikut ini, seperti dikutip dari eHow, Rabu (12/8/2009):




1. Cucilah muka dengan campuran air garam, tambahkan satu sendok makan garam dengan 8 ons air hangat. Garam akan membantu mengurangi minyak yang berlebih, dan menghilangkan komedo.


2. Ambil sedikit pasta gigi dan usapkan pada bagian yang berkomedo. Ini akan membantu mengurangi peradangan akibat komedo dan mengurangi kadar minyak berlebih, pastikan yang digunakan adalah pasta gigi bukan gel.


3. Peras jeruk atau lemon dan usapkan perasan tersebut ke daerah komedo, lalu biarkan semalaman. Asam dari lemon tersebut membantu mengurangi minyak di kulit.


4. Campurkan kulit dasar jeruk dengan air hingga menjadi pasta, tapi jangan terlalu banyak menambahkan airnya karena akan menjadi encer. Aplikasikan pada daerah yang terinfeksi dan biarkan semalaman.


5. Aplikasikan lidah buaya pada komedo, bisa dengan cara dibuat jus atau langsung mengaplikasikannya dari tanaman. Selain itu lidah buaya juga bisa membantu proses penyembuhan lebih cepat.


6. Menggosok daerah berkomedo dengan batu es selama 10 menit, ini akan membantu mengencangkan atau menutup pori-pori dan mencegah debu atau mengurangi tempat untuk minyak tetap tinggal dikulit.


7. Campurkan satu putih telur dengan satu sendok makan madu dalam mangkuk hingga rata. Usapkan campuran tersebut pada wajah dan biarkan selama 20 hingga 30 menit, lalu bilas dengan air hangat-hangat kuku. Campuran ini efektif untuk menghilangkan dan mencegah komedo.


8. Campurkan lobak tanah dengan air hingga membentuk pasta. Usapkan campuran tersebut ke wajah dan biarkan selama 30 menit lalu bilas. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal lakukanlah secara rutin seminggu sekali.

XP Automatic Logon Tip

Suppose you are the only one to use your Windows XP machine.

You may find having to logon with a password every time is a pain.

Well with a small tweak we can make your Windows XP machine automatically logon to your account for you!



So lets turn that feature on....

1) Go to the Start Menu and the Run box.

2) Type in the following:

control userpasswords2

now click OK

3) In the new Windows that appears select the account you wish to make the primary logon.

Now uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password..." box.

4) Hit Apply and a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the selected users password.

Click OK when you are done!

That's it! You are now finished.....

NB - ONLY use this tip if you are happy with the way users can now logon without typing a password!

Copy Command Line Output to Windows Clipboard Directly

Windows XP offers no easy solution for copying the output of DOS commands to the clipboard.

You have to select Mark from the contextual menu, use the mouse to highlight text that has to be copied and then press Enter.

Some DOS veterans use the redirect operator (> or >>) that puts all the command line output to a text file which can be opened in Notepad. (Also read: "Most Useful Windows DOS Commands")

Since both the above methods involve way too many steps, we look at a simple alternative - use Clip - a free DOS utility from Microsoft that is included in Windows Server 2003 resource kit but works just fine for Windows XP or Vista.

Just copy this clip.exe [14 kb] file to your Windows folder and then use it with a PIPE (|) operator in your DOS commands. Here are some examples:

dir /h | clip - Copy the help manual for DIR command to the clipboard

tracert www.labnol.org | clip - Trace the path from your computer to another website - the output is automatically copied to the clipboard and not displayed on the screen.

netstat | clip - Check if your computer is connecting to websites without your knowledge.

The clip.exe utility can also be used to copy contents of text files to clipboard directly from the command line.

clip < C:\AUTOEXEC.bat - this will copy all the text from autoexec.bat to your Windows Clipboard.

The clip.exe file comes only with the Windows 2003 or Windows Vista so I am not sure if they are distributing the original Windows file on petri.co.il or written something similar on their own.

Where's the Clipboard Viewer in Windows XP?

For some reason, Windows XP messed up the Clipboard Viewer. It's barely listed on the Help menus, and it isn't installed automatically when you upgrade to Windows XP. Even when you tell Windows to install it from its CD, it doesn't put a Clipboard Viewer icon appear on the menu.
And that's a shame, as the viewer is a handy way to see exactly what's on your clipboard.

Windows XP's Clipboard Viewer is called the "Clipbook Viewer," and although flawed, it lets you see what's on your Clipboard. Here's how to put Windows XP's Clipbook Viewer onto your Start menu.

Click the Start menu button and open My Computer.
Open your C drive. (It's listed in the Hard Disk Drives section.)
Double-click on the Windows folder. (You might have to tell it to let you see what's inside.)
Double-click on the System32 folder. (Again, you might have to tell it to let you see what's inside.)
Scroll down the page until you locate a file named Clipbrd.
Drag and drop the Clipbrd file onto your Start button.
Just let go of your mouse button when it's pointing at the Start button; that drops a shortcut to the Clipbook Viewer onto your Start menu. When you open your Start menu, the Clipbrd program's icon will appear near the top.

To put a shortcut to that file on your Desktop, right-click the Clipbrd file, choose SendTo, and choose Desktop (Create Shortcut).

Whenever you want to see exactly what's being stored on your Clipboard, double-click on that icon. The Clipbook Viewer will appear, letting you peer inside its contents.

Note: Microsoft seems to have stripped the Clipbook Viewer of the advanced features found in older versions. You can't "stockpile" multiple clips, for instance, or swap clips with networked computers. (The program's Help menu still says you can do things things, oddly enough.) But if you just want to see what's on your Clipboard, the stripped-down Clipbook Viewer works fine.

A more technical note: A reader writes this:

"In your writeup titled 'Where's the Clipboard Viewer in Windows XP?' I suggest that you add to it that sometimes the clipbrd file has not been expanded as was my case. I found the file (XP) in directory: I386 named as clipbrd.ex_ I told it to expand clipbrd.ex_ clipbrd.exe and copied the file to the "system32" directory and followed your suggestion."
